Microsoft Cultural Moments - 2021
Microsoft Store strives to reflect our values as a company, which includes diversity and inclusion.

This work is produced straight from the heart, of everyone involved. It enabled us to stretch our creative muscles and add to a culture of celebrating the strength of our communities. Pure love.

Layering of mixed media, textures and tech-like components within these geometric shapes gave us the dimensionality we were after, while humanizing with artistic, expressive brushstrokes evoking emotion and accenting with bright pops of color for vibrancy.

A system of layered, textural components that can easily flex across use-scenarios, channels, and accommodate a wide range of cultural moments, while honoring each one with its own unique identity.
Earth Day - April 22, 2021
A blend of organic shapes and clipped imagery layer to create an abstract scene of earth’s beauty an intersection of both water and land. Textural components range from hand painted brushstrokes and digital inking, for that expressive human touch, to tech-like lines landscaping the rolling hills. Variation in lighting, combined with these textures, add dimension to the collage.

Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month - May 2021
Geometric circular shapes are layered to create a Zen-like pattern—denoting harmony, unity, and the beauty of intersecting cultures. Round yet abstract floral shapes represent a multitude of flora (e.g.: cherry blossoms, chrysanthemums, plumeria, hibiscus). A touch of hand painting, inking, and brushstrokes is achieved through variations in color, texture, and translucency, lending dimension and an expressive human element.

Global Accessibility Day - May 20 2021
A blend of geometric circular shapes represents a global view of this conversation. Some full, cropped and outlined show a spectrum of ability, celebrates our uniqueness and a sense of belonging to the larger community.
